Each Zoe Student will have the opportunity to serve within the local church by training in serving opportunities in a variety of areas. Each serving opportunity offers a hands-on learning environment where students work side-by-side with Joy Church staff members to equip them for active ministry in the areas listed below.
Students are able to participate in youth ministry, children's ministry, outreach ministry, worship and music ministry, and missions.
In our management department, students will train in business, event planning, service production and administration.
Our media department allows students the opportunity to learn media, graphic design, video and live service production and creative arts ministry.
DEVELOPING A HEART FOR THE NATIONS
World Missions is a major value of the Zoe Internship. We believe that visiting another nation and serving alongside other local believers has a positive life long impact on each student. Every year a Missions Trip opportunity is available through Joy Church and Zoe Interns and each student is required to go on at one self-funded trip during their gap year in the program.
Interns have traveled to countries including Cambodia, Ireland, Romania, Mexico, and more. Students are given the chance to develop a heart for the nations and graduates from our program have since returned to the nations they visited as students for longer-term missions work.
